We make every effort to deal directly with most insurance plans. In 99% of cases the payment is issued to our office directly, so yes, we do take assignment. There are some plans, however, that don’t allow for such an arrangement and payment is sent to the patient, or even deposited directly to their bank account. In such cases, patients elect to make a payment at the time of the visit. Our office, regardless of insurance policy, processes all the claims on behalf of the patient.
